Brew mesquite just like your coffee
Here's just a few you can use, but seriously,
any will work!
Moka Pot
Fill basket with grounds 3/4 full, place on low-medium heat and allow to percolate
Chemex
Place filter into Chemex and fill with 1 tablespoon of grounds per 5oz cup of mesquite
Espresso Machine
Fill portafilter with grounds 3/4 full. Lightly tamp. Extract espresso like normal.
French Press
Put 3-4 heaping tblsp of grounds into the press. Pour 1.5c of hot water over and let steep for 3 minutes. Plunge and serve.

I came across Kamana on social media and saw there weren't many mixed reviews, just hits, so I decided to give it a go. Although it doesn't taste EXACTLY like coffee, it is a wonderful alternative and unlike any other alternatives I've tried (not a fan of mushroom blends). I prep mine in my espresso machine and I love the sweet, smokey, robust flavor. It might be my new fav morning (or evening since no caffeine 🙃) beverage.

I’ve been off coffee since Jan 2020 & tried many alternatives since then. This is by far my favorite because of the taste, the fact that it is brewed like coffee (I make a pour over) & the aromatics. I take mine with a little honey and a splash of milk most days. It’s great black too though. Other caffeine free alternatives I have tried are chicory root and dandelion root, and this is much better. I’ve tried Dose, which I like, but it has caffeine so I want to use it sparingly. I’ve tried Mud\Wtr which has its place but the sediment is a turn off. If it helps anyone to know, other flavors I like are: kalamata olives, bold cheeses, savory & salty foods, matcha, dark chocolate, a good cabernet sauvignon. Maybe my preferences are different than yours, but this Kamana coffee alternative is GREAT! Hope this review helps someone :)
